Calibrated Hobbyist Laser Power Meter Sensor Module...
Tests Lasers from 0.1mW to 200mW output power in 0.1mW increments.
The HLPM II comes pre-assembled and Pre-Calibrated so you can use it as soon as it arrives. The Laser Power Module was designed to let the hobbyist technician know the output power of any Lasers from 400nm to 1000nm.
Simply attach a 9 volt battery and connect the output to a Digital Multi-Meter of your choice. (Inexpensive Digital Multi-Meters can be purchased on eBay for less than $10.00). Set the scale of the DMM to 200mv... shine the Laser beam onto the Silicon Optical sensor and and read the Laser Power output directly without the need to calculate a complicated mathematical formula.
An optical response correction charts is supplied for wavelengths other than 655nm. You simply multiply 2 numbers together. If your DMM shows a reading of 127.8 millivolts then your Red Laser beam output power is 127.8 milliwatts. It's that simple. Using a Neutral Density filter could allow you to measure even higher powered Lasers with slightly lower resolution.
This BRAND NEW Electronic item Measures aprox. 1.50" x 0.50" x 0.30" with 6" leads). The Digital MultiMeter (not Included) shows the power output of the 655nm Laser (102.1mW) under test.
NOTE:- The Laser,Battery and DMM are not included.
